A Timeline of DDoS Attacks on Banks by Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters
The Innocence of Muslims video sparked controversy throughout the Muslim world and became a cause for retaliation by Muslim cyber fighters. A group known as the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters lead the charge with numerous DDoS attacks against large Western banking institutions including JPMorgan Chase, U.S. Bancorp, and Bank of America. This infographic is a timeline of the most notable denial of service attacks against banks at the end of 2012.
